The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in the 2014 Walk to End Violence Against Women (EndVAW) on November 25, at Quezon City (QC) Memorial Circle. The walk marks the National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Children.

Bringing together about 5,000 individuals from different national government agencies, local government units and civil society groups, the 2014 EndVAW Walk jumpstarted an 18-day campaign, which will conclude on December 12.

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), the policy research and advocacy arm of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), participated in “Basic Course on Internal Auditing of a QMS (ISO 9001:2008) Using 19011:2011” held at the Miramar Hotel in Manila on 21-22 November 2014.

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in the Digital Strategies for Development Summit held at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) on 2-3 October 2014.

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), the policy research and advocacy arm of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), participated in the workshop “Introduction to Impact Evaluation: A Seminar for DOLE Program Managers” held at the AIM Conference Center in Makati City on 8-9 October 2014.

Skills improvement being a priority for its staff, the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) held a technical learning session on photography titled “ILenS: Basic Photography in ILS” last October 23, 2014 at the Migration Information Resource Center (MIRC).
