“Green Jobs matter. Make them count.”

This is the theme when the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) convenes industry leaders and workers for Conversations on the Green Jobs Mapping Project today at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Malate, Manila.

 

In line with the Memorandum of Cooperation, between the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce and the Department of Labor and Employment, the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) and the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC) will be holding the 5thPartnerships in Governance Forum (PGF) on Agribusinessat the Occupational Safety and Health Center on 16 April 2012 at 9:00 A.M.

“Lets cut the ‘red tape!’ ”

This will be the call of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as they hold a two-leg seminar on regulatory impact systems at the government agency.

 

The initiative by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to cut red tape has been welcomed by the business community in Cebu and in Davao.

“This is the first positive impression I have had on government," said Hans Hauri, General Manager of the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. He attended the Cebu leg of the DOLE-DOT-ADB Results Impact Assessment Seminar at the Radisson Blu Hotel early this week.
