One (1) Senior Labor and Employment Officers (Anticipated)
Item Nos. ILSB-SRLEO-2-1998
Salary Grade: 19
Basic Salary: ₱49,835.00 + PERA: ₱2,000.00

Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree preferably in social sciences, economics, development studies, communications, industrial relations, and other related courses
  • Experience – Two (2) years of relevant experience in research and technical writing
  • Training – Eight (8) hours of relevant training
  • Career Service Eligibility – Professional  

General Duties:

The Senior Labor and Employment Officer is expected to recommend programs, projects and systems, and does related work pertaining to the advancement of decent work.

Competencies:

  • Leadership and Management: Builds a sense of commitment to a common goal among individuals and utilizes interventions to help close the gaps or improve competencies of staff to achieve goal;
  • Strategic Planning: Appreciates the value of strategic planning and prepares proposal for small activity;
  • Labor Policy Research: Implements the complete cycle of a research study;
  • Project Management: Supervises the implementation of the research project/program;
  • Networking and Partnership Building: Builds broad partnerships and collaboration outside ILS;
  • Public communication: Communicates to stakeholders and partners through technical assistance/ consultation.


One (1) Administrative Assistant III (Anticipated)
Item Nos. ILSB-ADAS3-6-2004
Salary Grade: 09
Basic Salary: ₱20,402.00 + PERA: ₱2,000.00

Qualifications:

  • Education – Completion of (2) years studies in college preferably in office administration, communication, and other relevant courses
  • Experience – One (1) year of relevant finance experience
  • Training – Four (4) hours of relevant training
  • Career Service Eligibility – Sub-Professional  

General Duties:

The AA III is expected to assist and maintain daily agenda of the Directors, maintain official records; and does other related work.

Competencies:

  • Administrative logistics: Provides general administrative support and secretariat services in the conduct or implementation of programs, activities and projects;
  • Database Management: Maintains a master list of information in a system; and
  • Records Management: Maintains and updates files in a system.

Qualifications:

  • Experience – Three (3) years of relevant experience in technical writing and research
  • Training – Sixteen (16) hours of relevant trainings

General Duties:

The Supervising LEO is expected to assist the Chief LEO in planning and managing the Division’s programs, projects, and systems, and does related work pertaining to the advancement of decent work.

Competencies:

  • Leadership and Management: Builds unity and purpose among individuals with seemingly disparate views, concerns, and aspirations, creates team cohesion, and improves individual and team performance;
  • Strategic Planning: Applies planning techniques before actual implementation of project/program, and designs complete project/program plan or proposal taking into consideration the situation of the organization and limited resources;
  • Labor Policy Research: Oversees the conduct of the research project on the field of study;
  • Project Management: Ensures the accomplishment of the research project and recommends contingency plans when research implementation is experiencing difficulties;
  • Networking and Partnership Building: Builds broad partnerships and collaboration outside ILS;
  • Public communication: Communicates to stakeholders and partners through technical assistance/ consultation.

General Duties:

The Administrative Assistant III is expected to assist the Accountant in analyzing and reviewing financial data and other accounting reports before consolidation and doing related work.

Competencies:

  • Accounting: Delivers bookkeeping and accounting functions;
  • Budgeting: Provides logistical assistance in budget preparations;
  • Records management: Maintains filing system on finance matters;

The Administrative Assistant III is expected to assist the Budget Officer in monitoring budget utilization, preparing budget proposals and reports, and performing related work.

Competencies:

  • Budgeting: Monitors of budget proposal of programs vis-a-vis actual utilization of funds and budget preparation and its implementation;
  • Accounting: Performs computing functions; Delivers bookkeeping and accounting functions;
  • Records management: Maintains filing system on budget and finance matters
