Manila – Senior Labor and Employment Officer Ronell J. Delerio presented his paper on mental health during The Manila Times online forum on "Resiliency and Adaptability at All Times of the BPO Industry - Bedrock of Philippine Employment Through the Years" last September 11.

Manila – Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies was recently awarded its ISO 9001:2015 re-certification by SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (formerly AJA Registrars Inc.) last September 22. SOCOTEC completed the conduct of the Institute’s external audit, conducted remotely last July 22.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in a series of Mid-Year Planning Assessment (MYPA) organized by the Labor Relations, Social Protection and Policy Support Cluster and Regional Operations clusters of the Department of Labor and Employment, held via Zoom last 6 and 19 August.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies’ Gender and Development (GAD) Committee organized a “Gender and Disasters” film showing and talkback session held via Zoom last August 12.

The monthly session serves as a venue for post-screening sharing and reflection among ILS employees in relation to mental health and resilience during a traumatic event, or a pandemic.
