Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) employees underwent a training on R.A. 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act (GPRA)” last 11-14 October 2022, 1:00- 5:00 p.m. via zoom as conducted by the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB).

The training aims to update and capacitate all employees, end-users, and procurement staff, BAC Members, TWG members, and Secretariat on the salient provisions of the said act and its 2016 revised implementing rules and regulations.

Attending the training were GPBB resource persons on different procurement topics: Dir. Mae L. Chua (“Key Features of GPRA and Procurement Organization” and the latest GPBB issuances); Atty. Jennilyn G. Malateo-Dawayan OIC, Regional Director Department of Agriculture – Regional Office I (“Alternative Modes of Procurement”); Atty. Jainito-Roi C. Atis Attorney VI Department of Justice (“Green Public Procurement”); and Engr. Mary Grace N. Objaan Engineer V Department of Public Works and Highways (“Preparation of Cost Estimates”).
