The Accounting Unit of the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) has been recognized anew by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP) as one of the country’s "Most Outstanding Accounting Offices” during the awarding ceremony held today, October 4, at the Radisson North EDSA in Quezon City.
Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba received the award with Finance and Administrative Chief Camilo Franco S. Cabusas, Accountant III Ivy A. Castronuevo-Luna, Accountant II Jessa Rodene B. Francisco, and Administrative Officer V Tranquilina L. Fallera.
AGAP’s annual award is in recognition of the “quality, timeliness and accuracy of (ILS) CY 2021 financial reports.”
The ILS first received the award in 2014 and again in 2015. The award is annually given to government agencies, through the recommendation of the Commission on Audit (COA). Founded in 1953, AGAP is an association that promotes the interests of government accountants and the efficient practice of government accountancy.
