QUEZON CITY – Labor and Employment Officers from the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), Mr. Diether Navarosa, Ms. Lyra Cosette Dayego, Mr. John Rod Sadia, and Mr. Jun Karlo Laroza, participated in the training workshop on Designing Qualitative Social Science Research organized by the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC). The event was held on 10 to 11 April 2025, at the PSSC’s Mercedes B. Concepcion Seminar Room, Quezon City.

MAKATI CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) joined the Philippine Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (PH-EITI), which gathered various stakeholders in advancing gender mainstreaming in extractive governance in line with the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration on March 18, at the Penthouse Ballroom, Lepanto Building.
PASAY CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) authors Arianne Ishreen C. Bucar and Joe Mari S. Francisco presented the findings of the 2024 Working Paper research on the Just Transition Pathways in the Philippine Blue Economy: Exploring Sustainable Coastal Accommodations and Tourism Initiatives at the two-day Philippine Blue Economy Forum held from March 18 to 19, 2025, at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
