MANILA – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in the National Tripartite Conference with the theme “Shared Labor Market Governance in Advancing Decent Employment for All,” organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on November 16, 2023, at the Citadines Bay City Manila.

QUEZON CITY The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participates in the annual observation of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) with the 2022-2027 recurring campaign theme, “UNITEd for a VAW-free Philippines,” led by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) from November 25 to December 12.  

QUEZON CITY – Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) researcher, Athena Mari E. Son, was interviewed last November 16, 2023 on the topic of GenZ workers, on the radio program TeleRadyo Serbisyo hosted by Amy Perez. 

TAGUIG – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), together with the International Labor Organization (ILO), held discussions with SN Aboitiz Power (SNAP) and with the Aboitiz Group on 09 November 2023 as part of the updating of the National Green Jobs Human Resource Development Plan 2020-2030 and in support of the preparations of the Philippine delegation to the upcoming 28th Conference of the Parties (COP 28) climate negotiations.  

Quezon City – The International Labour Organization, in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety and Health Center, conducted a public launch of “Safety and Health at Sea” board game on OSH for fishing and seafood sectors on November 21, at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.
