Manila – Officers from Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) recently attended the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Centennial Anniversary celebration last April 11 at the Peninsula Manila in Makati City.

The Institute was represented by Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba, Ronnell J. Delerio, Senior Labor and Employment Officer, and Frances Camille G. Dumalaog, Labor and Employment Officer III, both from the Workers Welfare Research Division of the ILS.

Manila - The Institute for Labor Studies participated in the “Skills Enhancement Training for DOLE Communication Program Managers and Implementers,” which was held last March 28-30 at the Hotel Elizabeth in Baguio City represented by Labor and Employment Officer II, Arianne Ishreen C. Bucar of the Advocacy and Publications Division.

Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba attended the 1st National Government Agencies conference on federalism organized by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Inter-Agency Task Force on Federalism and Constitutional Reform held at The Heritage Hotel, Pasay City on 18-19 March 2019.

Institute for Labor Studies Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba joins officials of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for a site visit of the ongoing pilot implementation of the Graduation Approach Project in Talisay, Negros Occidental.

The DOLE officials was headed by Assistant Secretary Alex V. Avila, together with Director Adeline T. De Castro of the Planning Service, Director Warren Miclat of the Finance and Management Service, along with ILS Acting Division Chief Maria Isabel Artajo and Bureau of Workers with Special Concenrs representatives Ms. Maria Lourdes Gonzales and Zydney Lanz Cresino.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies’ Gender and Development (GAD) Committee lined up month-long activities for all its employees in celebration of the International Women’s Month which officially started last March 8.
