Manila, Philippines – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) joined key government agencies for the 2nd Briefing Session on New Social Legislators/Issuances Covering Domestic Workers which was held last June 18 at the Occupational Safety and Health Center Conference Room in North Ave., Diliman, Quezon City.

Manila, Philippines – Employees of the Institute for Labor Studies underwent a workshop on Client/Customer Satisfaction Management (CSM) as facilitated by CSM Specialist Kevin Mandrilla last June 3 to 7 at the Bureau of Labor Relations conference room last 21 June 2019.

The workshop, organized by the ILS CSM Committee, was conducted in alignment with the Institute’s Quality Management System (QSM) target of ensuring the delivery of high quality and relevant knowledge products and services.

Manila, Philippines – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) was among the compliant government agencies cited by FOI-PMO in terms of FOI inventory/requests reports submissions. This was announced during the “2019 Freedom of Information (FOI) Receiving Officers’ Hangout” held at Sequoia Hotel in Quezon City on 19 June 2019.

Participants were updated on the major accomplishments, challenges, and innovative solutions to further improve current FOI program implementation.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies’ (ILS) Human Resource unit organized a technical learning session on mentoring and coaching for its senior staff held last 02 May 2019 at the ILS Conference Room in Intramuros, Manila.

The training was conducted by Civil Service Commission (CSC) Director May Antonette D. Arriola who shared key concepts on coaching and mentoring.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) management, headed by Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba, conducted its Management Review for the second quarter of the year held at its new office address at the 6th Floor of the BF Condominium in Intramuros, Manila.
