Manila – Employees of the Institute for Labor Studies assisted the Department of Labor and Employment Central Office by remotely manning the DOLE Call Center operations to respond to queries regarding its ongoing assistance programs in response to the COVID-19.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) continued its adoption of a Work From Home (WFH) scheme this April while ensuring the fulfillment of its mandate and services in undertaking policy research for the Department of Labor and Employment.

Following the declaration of the President putting the entire Luzon Island under Enhanced Community Quarantine, the Institute started to observe a work-from-home arrangement on March 16 through Administrative Order No. 36 signed by Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba.

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) officially welcomed Ms. Caryl Jannie C. Lazo as its new Human Resource Management Officer II as she took her oath of office before Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba at the ILS office in BF Condominium, Intramuros, Manila last March 16.

Manila - ILS Executive Director Ahmma Charisma-Lobrin Satumba discussed the Future of Work during the DOLE Region IV-A (CALABARZON) Strategic Planning and Budgeting, last March 6 in Calamba, Laguna.

The strategic planning session was attended by Regional Director Henry John S. Jalbuena, OIC - Assistant Regional Director Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leaño II, and other key officials from the CALABARZON Regional and Provincial Offices.

Manila – Institute for Labor Studies Acting Chief of the Labor and Social Relations Research Division, Ms. Miraluna S. Tacadao participated in the “Seminar on Consultations in Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA)” hosted by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) last March 3, at the DAP Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
