Bangkok, Thailand – Arianne Ishreen C. Bucar, Labor and Employment Officer II of the Institute’s Advocacy and Publications Division bags the award on Best Social Innovation Project for the Community of Nong Sa Rai in the recently conducted 7th Asia Pacific Youth Exchange (APYE)-Thailand.

The Institute for Labor Studies Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee deliberated on the nominations it received under the PRAISE award categories for Model Employees or “Huwarang Lingkod Kawani” for CY 2019 last January 15.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), led by Secretary Silvestre Bello III, met with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Scientific Advisor Dr. Dean Yang and team to discuss possible collaborative researches aimed at finding ways to enhance positive impact of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) earnings on the local economy.

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in the “Asenso Pilipinas 2020: Empowering Possibilities for the Modern Public Sector Landscape” organized by Microsoft Philippines last January 23, 2020 at Novotel Hotel in Quezon City.
