Manila – For its policy advocacy events line up this 2020, the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) has prepared a 10-part webinar series titled, “Revive & Thrive: ILS COVID-19 Webinar Series, Actions for creating a decent future of work amid and beyond COVID-19.”
In this webinar series, the Institute strives to take the public discourse on post-pandemic recovery to new frontiers, highlighting that to overcome this unprecedented crisis better, there is a need to take bolder actions to revive what has been lost or damaged—and to thrive on a decent future of work built on the principles of resilience, equity, justice and solidarity.
Manila – In line with Malacañang Proclamation No. 247 dated September 02, 2002, declaring the month of September of every year as Development Policy Research Month (DPRM), the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) through its Advocacy and Publications Division (APD), collaborates with social enterprises, namely Saliksik PH and AUDEO Philippines this September for online advocacy events to respectively promote policy research and the role of green jobs in making the ‘new normal’ a ‘better normal’.
Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies recently released its 2019 Annual Report, which focused on the 2019 line up of policy researches and policy support services including the series of Future of Work tripartite dialogues with our social partners that the Institute helmed for the last year.
Maynila – Ang Institute for Labor Studies, o Surian ng mga Aralin sa Paggawa, ay naki-isa sa pag gunita ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong buwan ng Agosto, alinsunod sa itinakda ng Komisyon ng Wikang Pilipino ng Tanggapan ng Pangulo. Ang tema para sa taong ito ay pinamagatang, “Wika ng Kasaysayan, Kasaysayan ng Wika, Ang mga Katutubong Wika sa Maka-Pilipinong Bayanihan Kontra Pademya.”
Manila – In line with the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) contribution to address the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 under the banner theme, “DOLE: Creating Opportunities, Fresh Hope for the Filipino Workforce,” the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), the policy research and advocacy arm of the Department, successfully launched its 10-part webinar series titled, “Revive & Thrive: The ILS COVID-19 Webinar Series, Actions for Creating a Decent Future of Work Amid and Beyond COVID-19,” in August 26 via Zoom, and broadcast live through the ILS official Facebook page.
