The Institute for Labor and Studies (ILS) conducted its area-wide consultations on the gap analysis of ILO Convention No. 129 or the convention concerning labor inspection in Agriculture, and No. 81 or the convention concerning labor inspection in industry and commerce) held on July 25, 27 and 29 respectively in Metro Davao, Metro Cebu, and Metro Manila.
One year shy of three decades of existence, the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) has shown that it has kept faith with its function in terms of producing researches and other knowledge products on labor and employment to aid, not only the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the crafting of its policies, but also labor policymakers, planners, advocates and workers.
