Manila, PH – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) unveiled its updated Mission, Vision, and its Core Values statement last April 19 at the lobby of the ILS office in Intramuros, Manila.
ILS OIC-Executive Director Mary Grace L. Riguer, OIC–Deputy Executive Director Brenalyn Peji, and ILSEA President Patrick Patriwirawan unveiled the updated ILS Mission, Vision, and its Core Values summed up as I–EPIC, which stands for Integrity, Excellence, Public Service, Innovation, and Compassion.
The ILS continuously commits itself to its Quality policy of promoting good governance through the delivery of innovative, responsible, competent and cutting-edge research and technical services along the full breadth of policy development in the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
The updated Mission and Vision statement is the result of the Institute’s strategic planning session last August 2016, in alignment with the Institute’s Quality Management System goals, having been certified ISO 9001:2008 last December 17, 2015.
