Manila – Researchers from the Institute for Labor Studies recently underwent a three-day training on Survey CTO last 22-26 May at the iLearn Conference Room, Intramuros, Manila.
The activity was made possible through the combined efforts of the institute’s Technical Division Chiefs namely: Maria Isabel D. Artajo of the Employment Research Division, Patrick Patriwirawan, Jr. of the Labor and Social Relations Research Division and Miraluna Tacadao of the Workers Welfare Research Division.
The 3-day training was led by Ms. Heather Richmond, a Senior Research Associate at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Philippines currently managing the Special Program for Employment of Student (SPES) impact evaluation as well as an impact evaluation of a mobile financial management training for small business owners.
SurveyCTO is a technology platform that helps researchers collect data using mobile phones, tablets, or computers. It offers different features, including offline data collection, which allows researchers to gather data even in remote areas, where internet connection can be intermittent.
