The initiative by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to cut red tape has been welcomed by the business community in Cebu and in Davao.

Recently released Department Order 102-10 signed by DOLE Secretary Marianito Roque on the “Guidelines for the Implementation of HIV and AIDS Prevention and Control in the Workplace Program,” requires “all private workplaces to have a policy on HIV and AIDS and to implement a workplace program in accordance with Republic Act 8504 and provisions of the Labor Code and other international standards.”
