The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) is recognized anew by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP) as one of the country’s "Most Outstanding Accounting Offices" during the AGAP Convention Seminar at the Bohol Tropics Resort in Tagbilaran City, on October 19, 2016.
The ILS first received the award in 2014. The award is annually given to government agencies, through the recommendation of the Commission on Audit (COA), based on the quality, timeliness and accuracy of financial reports. Founded in 1953, AGAP is an association that promotes the interests of government accountants and the efficient practice of government accountancy.
Ms. Ivy A. Castronuevo, Accountant III, accepted the award on behalf of the ILS.
