The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) recently appointed its new set of officers for its Gender and Development (GAD) Committee as effected by ILS Administrative Order No. 18 issued last February 13, 2019.
Taking over the reins of Ronell Delerio is Malorie Joy Mones from the Workers Welfare Research Division, with Joyce Anne Lumactud from Labor and Social Relations Research Division being named as Vice Chair.
Members from ILS’ other divisions include Arianne Ishreen Bucar, Cesar Mansal, Arvin Jae Sanchez, Tranquilina Fallera, and Frances Camille Dumalaog
Among the key roles of the said committee is the facilitation of the implementation of ILS GAD mainstreaming efforts in its research and advocacy functions, including the formulation of the ILS GAD Plan in response to the gender gaps and issues faced by the women and men employees, following the conduct of a gender audit and analysis.
