Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba presided over the oathtaking of new employees in a two-part virtual ceremony held last July 1 and July 12 via Zoom. The ceremony was witnessed by all ILS employees.

Chelsea Nicole P. Pineda was sworn in as Labor and Employment Officer II and will be assigned in the Employment Research Division. Meanwhile, Marjoe Velasco took his oath as an Information Systems Analyst II in the Information Technology Unit of the Advocacy and Publications Division (APD) Mr. Velasco was previously engaged by ILS under a job order arrangement in 2020. Joining Mr. Velasco at the APD is Lara P. Fameronag who took her oath as a Labor and Employment Officer (LEO) II and assumed her position last July 9. Ms. Marigold B. Buaya was also sworn in as an Administrative Officer I Records Officer I and officially assumed her position last July 12 at the Finance and Administrative Division.
