Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) is recognized anew by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP) as one of the country’s "Most Outstanding Accounting Offices.”
Formal communication was received by the ILS Accounting Team last September 15 which read: “The Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP), Inc. is pleased to inform you that in recognition of the quality, timeliness and accuracy of your CY 2021 financial reports, the Commission on Audit has chosen your accounting office as one of the Outstanding Offices for 2021.”
The awards ceremony will be held on October 4, 9:00 AM at the Radisson North EDSA in Quezon City.
ILS Deputy Executive Director Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio, together with Finance and Administrative Chief Camilo Franco S. Cabusas, Accountant III Ivy A. Castronuevo-Luna, and Accountant II Jessa Rodene B. Francisco, will be attending the event to receive the recognition for the Institute.
The ILS first received the award in 2014 and again in 2015. The award is annually given to government agencies, through the recommendation of the Commission on Audit (COA), based on the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of financial reports. Founded in 1953, AGAP is an association that promotes the interests of government accountants and the efficient practice of government accountancy.
