The Institute for Labor Studies has updated its Citizen’s Charter last August 05 in accordance with the provisions of Administrative Order 25 of the Department of Budget Management (DBM), which established the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information, and Reporting Systems of (DBM).

ILS’ Citizen’s Charter highlights the services of the office pursuant to Republic Act N0. 9485, which requires all government offices and agencies, including local government units and government owned or controlled corporations to set up their respective services standards and process flows for the public.

The latest version of ILS’ Citizen’s Charter has distinguished between its frontline and non-frontline services. The frontline services underline the Institute’s main mandate of undertaking researchers and studies in all areas of labor and employment: 1) Provision of Research Service (Highly Technical Transaction) and 2) Access to Knowledge Products (Simple Transaction). The Institute’s non-frontline services include 1) Settling Obligations with Supplier of Goods and Services (Simple Transaction) and Processing of External Applications

The said services are anchored in the ILS Quality Policy of promoting good governance through the delivery of innovative, responsible, competent and cutting-edge research and technical services along the full breadth of policy development process in the Department of Labor and Employment.
