Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies’ (ILS) Human Resource unit organized a technical learning session on mentoring and coaching for its senior staff held last 02 May 2019 at the ILS Conference Room in Intramuros, Manila.
The training was conducted by Civil Service Commission (CSC) Director May Antonette D. Arriola who shared key concepts on coaching and mentoring.
ILS Acting Deputy Executive Director Patrick Patriwirawan, Jr. said the training is intended to capacitate the Institute’s chiefs and supervisors in the facilitation of coaching/mentoring, and to commit to the continual development of their supervisees. It also was designed to help supervisees realize their full potential and execute their functions with complete responsibility.
The training is also part of the Institute’s commitment to excellent leadership through compliance with the CSC’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).
