Manila – Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) Senior Labor and Employment Officer Raymond R. Estrella was invited to deliver a personalized capacity-building virtual workshop for Sorsogon educators. The event, which was hosted by Project Oragon and organized in cooperation with Pamurayan Integrated School, was conducted via Google Meet last October 2.
Mr. Estrella gave a presentation on the topic, 21st Century Teaching and Learning Strategies, which featured teaching life skills such as Emphatic Leadership, Active Listening, Communication Skills, Problem Solving, Perseverance, Collaboration, Information Literacy, Global Awareness, Social Responsibility and Social Skills, among others.
The workshop was the kick-off event for the school’s Teachers Week celebration.
Aside from being the Senior LEO post for the Institute’s Labor and Social Relations Research Division, Mr. Estrella is also a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines and Qualified Trainer and Assessor for Australia.
