Quezon City – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in the recently concluded Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Cluster Planning Session held on January 8, at the Ichikawa Hall, Occupational Safety and Health Center, Quezon City.
Led by DOLE Labor Relations, Policy, and International Affairs Cluster Head Undersecretary Benedicto Ernesto R. Bitonio Jr., Assistant Secretary Amuerfina R. Reyes, Assistant Secretary Lennard Constantine C. Serrano, and OIC-Assistant Secretary Maria Consuelo S. Bacay, the 2025 Annual Planning Exercise was attended by heads of cluster members to assess the Department’s three-year performance highlighting prospects and directions in attaining the targets, priorities, and commitments set in 2025.
ILS Executive Director III Jeanette T. Damo presented the Institute’s action plan for improved policy and program delivery, including the research priorities for the year. Also in attendance were Deputy Executive Director III Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio and representatives from technical divisions composed of Bernard Paul M. Mangulabnan of the Employment Research Division, Miraluna S. Tacadao of the Workers Welfare Research Division, and Joyce Anne S. Lumactud of the Labor and Social Relations Research Division, with Levie F. Mariano of the Planning Unit.
In line with the Department's steadfast commitment to advancing President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s socio-economic agenda on fostering decent jobs, rising incomes, and inclusive and sustainable growth, DOLE conducted its 2025 Annual Planning Exercise reaffirming its dedication to providing timely, responsive, and impactful services, essential to achieving national development goals.
