Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) welcomes the new year with a training on personal finance management conducted by the Home Development Mutual Fund programs and services, commonly known as PAG-IBIG Fund, on January 12, at the ILS office, Intramuros, Manila.

The said event was spearheaded by the Finance and Administrative Division, Human Resources Management Unit led by Administrative Officer V Yumi Baluyut, to capacitate its employees not only on professional growth but also on financial literacy and security. ILS Deputy Executive Director III Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio was also in attendance with ILS employees.

Speakers from the PAG-IBIG Fund included Maricel O. Zamudio, Members Services Officer II, and Arlyn Seva, Marketing Specialist, both from the agency’s Marketing and Sales Division. The employees were delighted to hear the discussions on MP2 savings, short-term loans, discounts, rewards, provident savings, home financing, and the PagIBIG Fund-acquired assets currently being offered nationwide. An open forum after the session allowed employees to ask questions and raise concerns and clarifications on the services and programs being offered by the PAG-IBIG Fund. The orientation ended with the awarding of the certificates to the invited resource persons.
