Antipolo, Rizal - The Institute for Labor Studies conducted its 2024 Corporate Planning Activity at First Pacific Leadership Academy, in Antipolo, Rizal. Executive Director III Jeanette T. Damo together with Deputy Executive Director III Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio, spearheaded the two-day event, together with the heads and representatives of each division.
The first day of the event started with the Performance Review of the Organizational Plans and targets presented by Levie F. Mariano of the Office of the Executive Director. Thereafter, the DOLE Strategic Directions and Directives was reported by Executive Director Damo, followed by the report on the 2024 Organizational Budget for FY 2024 from the Finance and Administrative Division. The afternoon session focused on the presentation and reporting of the technical research division’s heads and representatives on their specific priorities, plans and commitments for FY 2024.
The second session tackled and discussed topics on gender and development accomplishments and priorities for fiscal year 2024, as well as the continuation of the Management Review for the year. Executive Director Damo also gave a briefing on the 28th Conference of the Parties climate negotiations. The session concluded with the closing remarks of Deputy Executive Director Riguer-Teodosio.
