The Institute for Labor Studies’ (ILS) Information Systems Strategic Plan for the Fiscal Years 2021-2023 (ISSP FY 2021-2023) has been endorsed to the Department of Budget Management (DBM) by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
In an emailed letter of 22 July 2021, addressed to ILS Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba, DICT stated that it "finds that the ILS’ ISSP has sufficiently identified the critical information systems that will support and address the agency’s goals and mandate.” DICT also assured ILS of its continuing support to its computerization efforts.
The ISSP of ILS for FY 2021-2023 is in compliance with the requirements of the Medium-term Information and Communications Technology Harmonization Initiative (MITHI).
In its prior letter of submission to DICT, Exec. Dir. Lobrin-Satumba mentioned that as a post-COVID response, the ILS “has revisited and carefully assessed its crafted ISSP to include in its key strategies the harnessing of technology to further improve the Institute’s delivery of services.”
