The Institute for Labor Studies Human Resources Management Personnel Selection Board (HRMPSB), chaired by Acting Deputy Executive Director Patrick Patriwirawan, Jr., reviewed its Recruitment, Selection and Placement process via Zoom meeting last May 20.
Discussed were the following areas of concern: posting of job vacancies on various platforms; screening of applications; submission of application requirements; administration of examination and evaluation of exams; conduct of panel interview and deliberation; preparation of documents for recommendation to the appointing authority; selection of candidate and job offer; appointment of candidate; and assumption of duty for newly-hired employees and orientation.
The Committee has committed to ensuring an efficient RSP process for the Institute to facilitate the hiring of the best-fit candidates even in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic.
