Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in a series of Mid-Year Planning Assessment (MYPA) organized by the Labor Relations, Social Protection and Policy Support Cluster and Regional Operations clusters of the Department of Labor and Employment, held via Zoom last 6 and 19 August.
This year’s MYPA reviewed the status of implementation of 2021 targets and directives, which highlighted key contributions of DOLE from 2016 to 2021. It also allowed officials and participants to identify key action points for effective program implementation for the remaining months of the current year.
The MYPA output is the 2021 Reformulated Plan, which will become the basis in updating the agency Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) and in adopting key action plans for the period until June 2022.
ILS, represented by Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba at the cluster-level MYPA, reported its reformulated targets for FY 2021, together with its proposed action plan to improve the implementation of ILS programs/projects for the remaining year of the current Administration.
The Planning Service (PS) acted as the overall coordinator/organizer and provided technical support for the conduct of both activities.
