Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) employee Malorie Joy Mones took her oath of office last December 6 before Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba as Senior Labor and Employment Officer and Labor for the Workers Welfare Research Division (WWRD).
Previously as Labor and Employment Officer III, Ms. Mones authored the research “A Study on Mine Safety and Working Conditions in the Metallic and Non-Metallic Small-Scale Mining Sector in the Philippines.” She was also one of the co-authors of the study titled, “An Analysis on Women’s Participation and Gender Integration in Services and Industry Enterprise-Based Unions (EBUs) in the Philippines.”
Ms. Mones also heads the ILS GAD Committee and concurrently the secretary of ILS Employees Association.
