ILS-EA’s new Executive Board members take oath

The newly-elected ILS-Employees Association (ILS-EA) Executive Board took their oath of office before ILS OIC-Executive Director III Jeanette T. Damo and Deputy Executive Director Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio and in the presence of all union members on 14 March 2023.

The new ILSEA Executive Board members are as follows: Employment Research Division (ERD) Supervising Labor and Employment Officer (LEO) Mr. Bernard Paul M. Mangulabnan as President; Advocacy and Publications Division (APD) LEO II Ms. Lara P. Fameronag as Vice President; Workers Welfare Research Division (WWRD) Senior LEO Frances Camille G. Dumalaog as Secretary; Finance and Administrative Division (FAD) Administrative Officer I Ms. Marigold B. Pabon as Treasurer; Administrative Officer I Ms. Almira Joy Coronel as Bookkeeper; Administrative Officer IV and Management Analyst II Ms. Isabel G. Medavillo as Auditor; and ERD LEO III Athena Mari E. Son as Public Relations Officer.

The officers won by a majority vote in the election held last I March 2023. They will serve until 2024.

Administrative Aide IV Mr. Blady J. Bonacua was elected as ILSEA Representative for first-level employees while Labor and Social Relations Research Division (LSRRD) Senior LEO Ms. Joanne Camille P. Bejarin was named representative for second-level employees.

The election and oathtaking activities were spearheaded by ILS-EA Election Committee member Chelsea Nicole Pineda, Marjoe Velasco, and Arvin Jae Sanchez. The election made history as the first fully automated ILS-EA poll and with a 100% voter turnout.
