Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies Employees Association(ILS-EA) newly-elected Executive Board for the fiscal year 2024 took their oath of office before OIC-Executive Director Jeanette T. Damo, witnessed by fellow union members on January 05, 2024.

The elected members of the ILS-EA Executive Board are the following: Joyce Anne S. Lumactud, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer of the Labor and Social Relations Research Division (LSRRD) as President; Atty. Joanne Camille P. Bejarin, Senior Labor and Employment Officer of LSRRD as Vice President; Diether B. Navarosa, Labor and Employment Officer II of the Workers Welfare and Research Division as Secretary; Joan N. Comillo, Senior Labor and Employment Officer of LSRRD as Treasurer; Almira Joy P. Coronel, Administrative Officer I (Supply Officer I) of the Finance Administrative Division (FAD) as Bookkeeper; Angelica Viel C. Dao, Accountant II of FAD as Auditor; Alejandro A. Dela Cruz III, Administrative Aide VI of FAD as Public Relations Officer. Advocacy and Publications Division Senior Labor and Employment Officer Michelle Ann A. Ruiz was elected as ILS-EA representative for second-level employees. At the same time, Blady J. Bonacua, Administrative Aide VI of the same division, was re-elected as representative for first-level employees.

The ILS-EA election was held successfully on December 18, 2023, supervised by the ILS-EA election committee composed of Chelsea Nicole P. Pineda of the Employee Research Division as the lead canvasser, with co-lead canvassers Arvin Jae A. Sanchez of the Office of the Executive Director, Renz J. Nucup of APD, and Jan Danielle R. Bondad of LSRRD. The elected officers will serve the ILSEA until the end of the year. This is the second automated election successfully conducted by the ILS-EA.
