The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) management, through its Quality Management Systems (QMS) Committee and guided by Deputy Executive Director Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio, conducted its annual review of its QMS processes on 25-28 April.
Among those reviewed were the Management Processes (Quality Manual and Understanding the Context of the Organization; Management Review; Annual Planning; Annual Budget Preparation; Control of Documented Information; Risk and Opportunities Management); Service Realization Processes (Conduct of Research and Technical Advisory Support; Customer Satisfaction Measurement; Internal Quality Audit and Corrective Action); and Resource Management Processes (Recruitment, Selection, and Placement; Performance Management; Training and Development; Disbursement; Procurement of Goods and Services; Supplier Selection and Evaluation; and Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Facilities and Vehicles).
The review was in preparation for an internal audit in May and external surveillance audit in July, in relation to ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The ILS was awarded its ISO 9001:2015 re-certification by SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. on 22 July 2021 with a validity until 23 July 2024.
