Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies conducted its Mid-Year Planning and Assessment Exercise last October 22, via Zoom. The activity was organized by the Institute’s Planning Committee and was hosted by Planning Officer Levie F. Mariano Jr. and Management Audit Analyst Isabel G. Mediavillo.
This year’s Planning and Assessment Exercise reviewed the status of implementation of the Institute’s 2021 targets and directives. It also allowed officials and all ILS employees to identify key action points for effective program implementation for the remaining months of the current year.
Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba delivered the Opening Remarks for the activity, and was followed by a review and update delivery of the Office Performance Commitment and Review Updates by Deputy Executive Director Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio.
Atty. Riguer-Teodosio reported the reformulated targets for FY 2021, together with its proposed action plan, to improve the implementation of ILS programs/projects for the remaining year.
Fourth Quarter Division Action Plans and Concerns were delivered by the Institute’s Division Chiefs, namely: John Emmanuel B. Villanueva for the Employment Research Division (ERD), Patrick P. Patriwirawan Jr. for the Labor and Social Relations Research Division (LSRRD), Miraluna S. Tacadao for the Workers Welfare Research Division (WWRD), Reinerio A. Alba for the Advocacy and Publications Division (APD) and Camilo Franco S. Cabusas for the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD).
Other institutional updates were provided by the Green DOLE Program (GDP) Committee, Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, and the ILS Employees Association. The latest developments on the OPCR and Performance Based Bonus Dashboard were delivered by Ms. Benita A. Cortez, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer from the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD).
