Manila - The Institute for Labor Studies remains among the attached agencies of the Department of Labor and Employment, which received a 100% Transparency Seal compliance status in the Q1 2024. As part of the ongoing enhancement and enforcement of accountability and delivery of quality services, all government agencies are required to comply with Transparency Seal per DOLE AO 357 Series of 2023 and GAA Fund Compliance 2024.

ILS posted 25 of 25 reports and attained 100% transparency seal compliance status as of May 17, 2024.  ILS was able to comply with the following: (1) the agency’s mandates and functions, including pertinent contact information of officials, (2) approved agency budget and corresponding targets based on FY 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA),  (3) Annual Procurement Plan (APP), (4) major activities or projects and their target beneficiaries, (5) status of implementation, evaluation, and reports or said programs or projects, (6) budget and financial accountability reports, (7) People’s Freedom of Information (FOI), (8) Annual Reports on the status of income authorized by law to be retained or used and be deposited outside of the National treasury, (9) ISO Quality Management System (QMS) Certification/Recertification, and (10) agency’s policy on establishment and conduct of the Agency review and Compliance of Statement.

ILS management, together with Mr. Renz J. Nucup of the I.T. and Advocacy and Publications Division of the Institute, as the assigned web administrator had successfully monitored the quarterly review to ensure the consistent delivery of quality services and compliance to all government-mandated reviews and policies. The next schedule of online monitoring for the 2nd Quarter will be in August 2024.
