Manila - The Institute of Labor Studies, consistent with its commitment of bridging research, policy and practice, conducted a training for its employees through an orientation by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on its Whole-of-Government (WOG) Reengineering Manual held on May 14, 2024 via the Zoom platform.

ARTA launched the said manual to equip government employees with new, innovative, and better ways of providing services to its clients.

Atty. May Angeli Estolas, ARTA Division Chief of Compliance Monitoring and Evaluation Office, presented and discussed ARTA Memorandum Circular 2021-09, or the “Issuance of the WOG Reengineering Manual,” detailing the role of various government stakeholders on the WOG Reengineering Project. The project is in line with the government’s initiative to streamline processes in accordance with Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business Act, and AmBisyon Natin 2040, the long-term vision of the country.

The orientation was attended by the ILS Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART)  led by Chairperson Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio, Chief Administrative Officer Camilo Franco S. Cabusas, Planning Officer I Arvin Jae A. Sanchez, and the ILS CART Secretariat, and employees.

The Institute has complied with the submission of its Citizen's Charter, Certificate of Compliance, and ILS Customer Satisfaction Measurement Report to the ARTA during the first quarter of the year.
