The Global Competitiveness Report (GCR) is published annually by the World Economic Forum (WEF), an independent global benchmarking network. To date, the GCR presents the most comprehensive assessment of national competitiveness worldwide as it assesses the competitive landscape of 144 economies. The GCR anchors on 12 pillars of competitiveness, as follows: institutions, infrastructure, macroeconomic environment, health and primary education, higher education and training, goods market efficiency, labor market efficiency, financial market development, technological readiness, market size, business sophistication, and innovation.
