The Philippine Green Jobs Act of 2016, or Republic Act No. 10771, is the first piece of legislation in the country specifically designed to generate, sustain and incentivize “green jobs.” The salient features of R.A. 10771 are a) providing of incentives; developing human resources; and engaging government institutions to provide enabling environment for the creation and sustaining green jobs.
