Description
With Labor Market Governance as its main agenda for 2010, the 2nd ILS Strategic Conversations tackled issues surrounding labor market governance such as promoting labor diplomacy, decent work for migrant household workers, international trade and labor agreements, work flexibility, workers’ representation, public-private partnerships and minimizing government interventions in labor relations. The thrust of the Conference was to apply research policies into good and best labor practices through industry self-regulation and social dialogue.
