Manila – Through the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Administrative Order No. 23, s. 2021, Atty. Mary Grace L. Riguer-Teodosio is back in her role as the Institute for Labor Studies’ (ILS) Deputy Executive Director after the completion of her Job Enrichment Program from DOLE-National Capital Region and DOLE-PAPAMAMARISAN (Pasig, Pateros, Mandaluyong, Marikina, San Juan) Field Office respectively.

The said MALSU stint with DOLE-NCR was followed up in 2018 with her appointment by DOLE Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III as the OIC-Regional Field Office Director II for the DOLE-PAPAMAMARISAN Field Office for three years. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she became involved in facilitating the speedy disposition of benefits for DOLE’s COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) and Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged / Displaced Workers (TUPAD).

Atty. Riguer-Teodosio served as OIC-Deputy Executive Director of the Institute from 2013 to May 2014 before formally assuming the job title of Deputy Executive Director.

The said Administrative Order, which took effect last January 26, 2020, also designated Acting Deputy Executive Director Patrick P. Patriwirawan, Jr. to perform in the same capacity for the Institute while assuming concurrent role as the Chief Labor and Employment Officer for the ILS Workers Welfare Division (WWRD), overseeing the operations of the Advocacy and Publications Division (APD) and the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD).
