Manila – Employees from the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) conducted their Annual Moral Renewal Activity by facilitating an outreach program last December 16 at the Manila Youth Reception Center in Ermita, Manila.

The program zeroed in on the theme “Understanding Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL),” which was made possible in partnership with the Youth for Mental Health Coalition, Inc. After the short introduction of all the participants, they were broken down into 5 groups where two therapy session activities were conducted. The first was “Expressive Art Therapy,” which allowed the participants to express their feelings through clay art, and second was “Journal Writing Therapy,” where each participant was encouraged to express their thoughts through writing and share their dreams in life.

Each group activity was facilitated by ILS employees and the proceedings closed with a short presentation and processing of the day’s learnings and realizations through an Insight Sharing activity.
