Manila – Institute for Labor Studies Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba sat as one of the Panel of Jurors for the 57th ANVIL Awards. The awards were given last February 26, 2022 via online platform.

ANVIL is the symbol of excellence in public relations. It is awarded to outstanding public relations programs and tools after careful screening by select PR professionals and judging by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury.

There are two major categories: PR program and PR tool. The PR program sub-categories include PR programs on sustained basis, PR programs for specific stakeholders, specialized PR programs, and digital PR programs. The PR tool subcategories are comprised of publications for internal or external audiences, multimedia, exhibits and special events.

As a panel juror, Executive Director Satumba evaluated a total of 17 entries for both the Grand ANVIL (best PR program) and the Platinum ANVIL (top PR tool).

This year’s winners are: GRAND ANVIL: Metrobank Foundation Supplemental Aid to Community Pantries, Public Relations Program Directed at Specific Stakeholders - Communities, Metrobank Foundation, Inc.; PLATINUM ANVIL: #LetHerBe: Avon Claps back at Microaggressions and Outdated Social Standards, Multimedia/Digital Tool - Online Video/Online New/Podcast, Avon Philippines, and MullenLowe MARC; AGENCY OF THE YEAR: Reverb Communications, Inc.; COMPANY OF THE YEAR: PLDT and Smart and the HALL OF FAME Award went to PAGEONE Group and Studio 5 Designs, Inc.
