ILS conducts internal audit for ISO full image

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) completed its 2022 Internal Audit from May 16-20 conducted with the owners of seventeen enrolled process areas.

This semester’s Internal Audit aims to assess the Institute’s continuing conformance and compliance to the ISO 9001:2015 and its established Quality Management System (QMS), and assist the organization in identifying potential areas for improvement. Being a self-check mechanism for the Institute, the audit also ensures that ILS meets or exceeds its client’s requirements.

Internal Audit Team Leader ILSEA President Marc Raphael A. Peñaredondo, presented the preliminary findings of the audit to the process owners and the Management Committee.

The ISO certification is in compliance with Executive Order 605 series 2007 directing all government agencies to adopt the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standards as part of the implementation of a government-wide quality management program.
