The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), co-organized with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) RSN Policy Center, in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), and the International Labor Organization (ILO), a webinar titled “Re-Think Work Arrangements: Telecommuting Post-COVID” held last May 21 and was posted live in the official AIM facebook account.

The webinar discussed how, in order to keep their employees safe from COVID-19, businesses and governments have transitioned to remote work arrangements. However, even in less than ideal work-from-home setups, workers are still expected to maintain their efficiency and productivity. Among the issues tackled concern the implications of this beyond the COVID19 pandemic and how organizations and government can better equip their workers for the future of work.

These issues were also tackled in the ILS research by Ms. Miraluna Tacadao titled “A Descriptive Study on Off-site Work Arrangement in the Philippines.” To download a copy, please go to this link: https://ils.dole.gov.ph/a-descriptive-study-on-off-site-work-arrangement-in-the-philippines/
