Manila, Philippines – The Department of Labor and Employment Inter-Agency Committee on Research and Statistical Matters held its 3rd regular quarterly meeting last September 5 at the iLearn Conference Room of the Department’s Institute for Labor Studies, in Intramuros, Manila.
Assistant Secretary Alex V. Avila presided the meeting. OIC-Executive Director Brenalyn A. Peji and OIC-Deputy Executive Director Stephanie T. Yanson, both of ILS, were also in attendance. The meeting’s main agenda was the regular review of the researches of committee members. These researches form part of the DOLE Research Agenda 2017-2022. The committee members are comprised of almost all the Department’s offices.
The 3rd quarterly meeting closed with a suggestion for the conduct of a training covering aspects of research including presentation and analysis. The proposed activity also targets the formulation of 2018-2022 capacity building plan.
