Multi-employer bargaining exists when one or more unions negotiate with one or more employers or employers’ organization/s. It is seen as a mechanism to promote inclusive coverage of the benefits provided by Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs). Multi-employer bargaining can exist at different levels (workplace, industry, region or national) which can pave the way for standards peculiar to the workplace or industry.
